AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS: Denim Deal has partnered with United Repair Centre (URC), a social impact company providing high quality apparel repair services to some of the world’s leading outdoor and fashion brands.

The partnership gives Denim Deal members direct access to United Repair Centre’s Europe-wide repair expertise and services, supported by a dedicated member discount.

It responds to a practical question facing many brands: how can product longevity move from ambition to implementation?

Repair is one part of a wider durability system. Material choice, fabric quality, construction, repairability and recyclability all determine how long a denim product retains its functional, emotional and material value.

The partnership will launch publicly on 23 September 2026 at Denim Deal Days Paris, a one-day event organised by Denim Deal with United Repair Centre and the Circular Fashion Federation, hosted at URC’s central Paris hub.

Bringing the product back to the centre
Denim Deal Days Paris is designed to bring the product back to the centre of the circular denim conversation.

Rather than discussing post-consumer recycled cotton (POCR) in the abstract, the event will invite attendees to touch it, compare it, question it and understand it as a viable, strategic material choice.

Selected brand teams will meet mills, repair specialists, innovators and circular-fashion experts to explore how POCR cotton performs across different fabrics, constructions, finishes and products. The day will also address the practical questions that shape adoption, including quality, design, sourcing, cost, availability and durability.

The event’s central theme is Denim Durability: Protecting the Product, Closing the Loop.

Durability connects every part of the programme. For Denim Deal, it means scaling POCR cotton without compromising quality, performance or desirability. United Repair Centre brings expertise in extending product life and learning from repair data through bespoke tools and cutting edge technology. The Circular Fashion Federation connects these themes to ecodesign, repairability and future recyclability.

The programme will combine fabric and garment displays, direct conversations with mills, practical discussions on POCR quality and sourcing, an ecodesign session and a hands-on Sashiko denim repair workshop.

The format is designed as a working day rather than a traditional conference. It gives brand teams the opportunity to examine products, speak directly with value-chain partners and leave with clearer next steps for implementation. Exhibiting at the event are Denim Deal members DNM, Indigo Textile, Kipas Denim, Soorty, Demco, Artlab, Thirty2, World Collective, PLNTmatter

“Post-consumer recycled cotton becomes more credible when brands can see it, feel it and understand how to use it,” said Laura Vicaria, Program Director at Denim Deal. “Durability connects the full product journey, from material choice and design to repair and future recycling. Denim Deal Days Paris brings those decisions together around the product.”

“Yes, investment in repair drives positive social change, helps brands to achieve their circularity goals, and is cleaning up apparel’s waste problem. None of this would work without the highest quality repairs, every time, exceptional service, and industry-leading technology,” said Thami Schweichler, Founder, United Repair Centre. “And we can’t wait to bring the benefits of repair to Denim Deal members.”

“Our study with KPMG values the eco-design market opportunity — the Reinvent segment — at nearly €71 billion by 2030 for European first-hand apparel, growing almost 20% a year," said Maxime Delavallée, President of the Circular Fashion Federation. "Post-consumer recycled cotton is where that opportunity becomes tangible: incorporating POCR turns a regulatory requirement into real product value, and Denim Deal Days Paris is exactly where the industry can translate those numbers into decisions."
