UKFT has launched a competition for fashion and textile small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in the UK or those that place products in the UK market to help develop an intelligent, fair and balanced EPR fee system for Britain.
Producers would soon be held responsible for the full lifecycle of textile products, according to the new proposals to introduce mandatory and harmonised Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes for textiles in all EU Member States.
